Vigilante Rewards?

  • A rural Kane County man is offering his own money – a $3,000 reward – for information leading to the arrest of the people who burglarized his car on Thanksgiving night.

“I just feel that if we don’t stop it now, we’re just encouraging more,” said Steve Hindi, who lives south of Elburn.

The Kane County Sheriff’s office said Hindi’s car and at least half a dozen others were burglarized late last month.
An interesting effort to say the least. If we were this citizen though, and it worked, we'd think about suing Kane County to get a rebate on our taxes.

Should offer 3000 bucks worth of bitcoin-- that reward would likely go up 30% in a day depending on bitcoin.

I'd rather see a bounty on the severed head of the miscreant. That way, the sheeple aren't on the hook for three hots and a cot. Now, if someone shows up with a severed head of someone that is proved innocent, then we have the opportunity for a come to Jesus, no holds barred, meeting run by the next of kin as a pay per view event. I just ask for the popcorn concession.

Isn't there a county CrimeStoppers(TM) organization? They should offer him a rebate if it works.

Naaah! This isn't real Vigilanteism. If it was real vigilanteism, the offer would have included

DEAD OR ALIVE!

$3000 for information.
$5000 for just their heads

That is vigilanteism.
Be glad that the citizens have not gone that far, yet.

Perhaps a class action lawsuit against rahm and his aldercreatures for failing to provide adequate security for taxpayers in this savage run city...

I'm not one to 'Victim Blame' but I'm sorry, this guy left his car unlocked. And it doesn't sound like it was an oversight, a one time 'Ooops', but that he does it regularly.

Every adult with an IQ above room temperature should know that in today's culture, where morals have pretty much disappeared, no city, no town, NO PLACE, is now safe to where you can leave ANYTHING unlocked.

Suburban PO here. Anyone interested in moving to the middle of Montana away from the liberal nut-jobs? We can all buy a few thousand acres and wall it off from stupidity.

Nonsense.
Come to Chicago.
You’ll get used to it and that $3000 could go towards your deductible.

No surprise, but Chicago has been dumping the feral to the boonies for decades.
Keep accepting Democrat grant money for apartment buildings and rehabbing abandoned shacks.
Can’t stop what’s coming.

Wonder if the guy ever thought of raising hogs?

Well, if no one collects the three thousand dollars, he will have a nice wad to shop with in his friendly, neighborhood gun store. This time it was his car, next time it might be his house!
Empowering criminals is never a good idea. Hanging criminals has always prevented recidivism.

If only we could have our own "private justice system" with hand-picked, head-beating coppers and hanging judges.

I'd pay more than my fair share to see safe and empty streets. Imagine kids playing and young couples walking hand-in-hand and NO FUCKIN' DIRTBAGS.

Just a dream in Chicago.

The cowardly thugs in Chicago would have a member vandalize his car and then go collect the reward by lying on someone they were trying to recruit or sex traffick.

I thought I recognized that name. He is a big animal rights activist. I wonder if he has links to ELF? Or if you prefer the environmental liberation front. I bet there is more to this story now that I see this goof is involved.
