- It’s all too common for people in bad situations to blame others. This is especially true in situations where the police are forced to defend themselves, and the media seems to love a good “blame the cops” story. While groups like “Black Lives Matter” point fingers at law enforcement and act as if the thin blue line is nothing but racist and evil, not everyone has bought into that narrative.
A mother in Cleveland is now dealing with a sad and unfortunate situation, but is refusing to blame the police. Instead, she’s calling for personal responsibility and asking others to think about their actions.
According to WOIO News in Ohio, a 33-year-old man named Antonio Levison pulled a gun on officers on Oct. 25. They responded with lethal force — and now Levison’s mother has strong words for other people living his criminal lifestyle.
“It’s not worth it. It’s not worth losing your life running from the police, shooting at the police, you’ve got family — stay with your family,” Cyrida Levison said. “You run up on a police officer, you might as well expect to die,” she continued.
Kind of ruins the narrative....for this shooting at least.

This must have been one of those body camera moment, where they can't lie about what happened and have to face the truth!

Ah the truth. However she will be branded as an Uncle Tom for speaking the truth. How dare she. The old saying "the truth hurts" can be applied to this situation. So in order to keep the hurt away find an alternative truth that blames anyone but yourself.
That’s refreshing to hear but it may cost her a Ghetto Lottery ticket.
That mother may not have 'raised' an asshole at all...the son may have simply decided on his own to become one.
We've all seen that happen too. Over the years we have all seen cops kids brought into the station and detained on a variety of charges...kids that grew up in two parent families, in nice, comfortable homes, from good schools, in safe neighborhoods, who decided to go in an opposite direction from their own family values.
Well Bless her little old heart...Now she's gonna be down casted in Da Hood for surez Ummmm Hmmmm.
It's still early. Some Shyster will convince her that millions can be made suing Cleveland PD.

I will not vote for Toni Preckwinkle under any circumstance. She has been the most singularly destructive figure around (and she has lots of competition for that title).

GQ is the literary and cultural equivalent
of Cosmopolitan and hasn't been relevant
since 1980.
They need to shut this woman up! What if people took her message to heart and started trying to teach responsibility to their children? Responsibility, respect, honesty, my God, it could be the end of the Democratic party!

Yeah, truth-teller Brazile.
Would that be the one who denied collusion and sneaking the PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE QUESTIONS to Clinton, to give her an unfair advantage in the highest election in the land?
Or the Brazile who admitted to it, many months later?
Or, would it be the truth-telling Brazile who (last week) claimed she 'doesn't know' if she illicitly gave those all-important questions to Clinton?
The woman is out to save her own skin. She'll say WHATEVER she has to say to stay above water at this point.
I felt the same way when I swat-kilt a fly this past summer.
Sneaking in through a hole in the screen door, buzzing around mostly unnoticed and unchallenged.
But when it tried to land on my corn on the cob...that’s when I drew the line.
I could have just opened a door or window and let it go, but nature of the pest says it will just come again back to annoy me.
Moral: Fix the hole in the screen and dispatch the trespasser.
