Gee, Why is Crime Going Up?
- A 23-year-old man has been charged with a felony after Cook County Sheriff’s Police officers found him with a stolen pistol in unincorporated Melrose Park, Sheriff Thomas J. Dart announced today.
At approximately 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 3, Sheriff’s officers responding to another complaint in the 2300 block of North Mannheim Road, learned that Jovantae Withers was in the area and carrying a gun. Withers was subsequently located nearby and found with a loaded 9mm pistol in his waistband. The gun had a full 14-round clip.
Further investigation found that Withers, a Hillside resident, has a previous felony conviction and does not have a Firearm Owner’s Identification (FOID) card or Concealed Carry permit.
Throw the book at him!!!
- Withers was taken into custody and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a class 2 felony.
Hooray!
- During a bond court appearance on Saturday, Withers received an I-bond and was released on his own recognizance.
Uh....what now? He's got a record. And it's a stolen gun.

Assinine that our "justice system" in Crook County tolerates this and actually promotes it proudly and then complains about the high murder rate which occurs in certain neighborhoods consistently for the past few decades. These types are the ones shooting little kids and Grandmas down the block from their intended target time after time but we never see any outrage in our local sucking media as long as the reporters are wearing their tactical kneepads around nine n a half digits.

Please name one cop that is in jail who is truly innocent of any charges. Stop spreading the lies that everyone hates cops. We hate the ones who do terrible things and do not get any punishment.

Everyone that I speak to is experiencing the same outrage that I have been witnessing. Officers are making decent to good UUW arrests in an attempt to remove guns from the streets and incarcerate those carrying them who are likely "shooters". The ASA's under Kimesha have their marching orders however. They are becoming the defense attorney, judge and jury while trying the case over the phone resulting in constant denial of charges. These same assholes responsible for this egregious dereliction of duty will then complain about the violent crime rate, subsequently blaming the police. The system needs to be rodded, given an enema, douched, then completely drained.

The judges only play a part in the Ibond fiasco. The states attorneys are actually requesting I bonds, more than half of all arrest get ibonds. Each arrestee is guaranteed 3-5 minutes in front of the judge in bond court per chief judge, bond court use to on average last approximately 3 Hours but since the change bond court now takes approximately 6 hours. Almost all UUW arrests get an I bond like 98%
It would take a good guy with a guy to stop him, AKA not a cop.

The judges are directed by Chief Judge, former alderman to let em all go. He hand picked the slugs of the circuit to sit at bond court. Short of a double homicide witnessed by 10 independent witnesses they get an I Bond. Lake and Will county you sit in their jail for over an ounce of grass and the bond will 5 K to walk.

A lot of the crimes today go back to years of court systems failing to enforce the laws. Criminals don't fear courts, its a shame that's how these criminals with numerous violent crimes in the background end up back on the streets committing numerous crimes and then when they are stop for the poor choices in life they make the Police are held responsible and hung. Who would step up and do some real journalism and write up the courts failing system and who and if all all involved should be held accountable.
Yes, you read this crap and you read the newspaper columns that support a law in Springfield to crack down on gun stores in this state, which is nothing but an underhanded attempt to drive them out of business. The liberals know that these new laws will do nothing to stop crime or even slow it down but they continue because their true goal is to disarm everyone but their bodyguards. Lock these felons with guns up and give them long prison sentences not I Bonds and probation. That will put a dent in crime. Lock up the straw purchasers.
Time to go to bail bondsmen like Indiana, you don't appear in court the man hunts you down.

So there you have the 360 degrees of manufactured violence in crook county that regards the criminal as the victim and the Police Officer as the criminal.The criminal element is very well represented and the normal citizen and their safety are considered necessary collateral damage when your are the violence manufacturing giant, crook county.
