Nice Street Rahm
- A woman had her computer bag snatched from her hand in the 4200 block of N. Hermitage yesterday afternoon—the same block that is home to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and his 24/7 police personal police force.
No one is in custody.
The woman was walking near Emanuel’s home shortly after 1PM Tuesday when a teenager jumped out of a “very old black Cadillac,” grabbed her computer bag from her hand, and then fled in the same vehicle. She was not injured.
Police describe the offender as a black male teenager wearing a white tank top and black cargo pants.
The crime has been classified as a theft.
The mayor's home is protected around the clock by at least eight police officers who are assigned to patrol our 19th district. The force includes at least two cops in front of Emanuel's home, at least two more in the rear of his home, a sergeant, and "roving units" that make circles around the block.
We suppose it doesn't matter - the thief fled in a car, so he would have gotten away clean regardless.
Sorry about your computer, here's your report. Never mind those eight coppers within 300 feet of the scene. We guess none of them or their squad cars had active cameras either.

After it hit the news guess what it was re-opened and the Dicks actually went out on a theft. Not strong-arm robbery but a theft.
Case management has the best Detectives the City can hire reclassifying crimes to misdemeanors.
Gotta love the white shirts when the heat gets turned up they know how to order people to work a case. But if your momma or kids are victim and its not on the news or an exempts family it will be lost in limbo.

• Rahm's Security Detail Inc. has a budget that could fund 4 Bud Biliken Parades and still have money leftover to replace the Cabrini Green Midnight Basketball Courts.
We need to stop bashing Rahm Emanuel (D) and continue our support. Rahm is a rock solid democrat and supporter of the working middle class. Please put your ill will aside and continue to support Rahm and the democrats. Remember it is only through your support the democrats can advance their progressive agenda. Take time out, make personal sacrifices and continue your support through city sale taxes, red light camera fines, property taxes, the new garbage collection fees, utility taxes, parking citation fines, city sticker fees, public parking meter collaborations, Chicago Skyway revenue transfer schemes, personally issued driving citations, Administrative Notice of Violation fines, building permit fees, additional progressive business sales tax districts, zoned parking fees, Denver boot fees to name a few. And they are marketed as the party of the Middle Class.
Why doesn’t Rahm battalion of “security specialists” of D-3 pay grade have dash cameras with active microphones and state mandated body cameras with associated audio recordings? Are they in violation of state law or are political regime’s security forces exempt in the interest of state security? The expendable blue shirts were told the cameras can only help you not hurt you. The footage and accompanying audio can only assist in the prosecution of crimes, exonerate allegations of misconduct and for ratings sake make you movie stars on the 10 o’clock news destroying your good name and standing. Body cameras are state law I have been told codified into legislation by so many hard core democrats who represent broken down World War II Berlin bombed out looking communities complete with desperate, controlled modern day displaced peoples.
One would think legislators would “work” hard to create economic opportunities rather than expending finite resources handcuffing peacekeepers who keep a lid on the democrat machine's voting trash can. If violent crime and death are your oppressive goals, Illinois legislative bodies have achieved keeping their collective dream alive in collaboration with the aclu, trial lawyers, the blm sympathetic superintendent of police and the transformative doj. Stay fetal and out of the camera's eye.
If Tasers are required for beat officers, when is the mayor’s security detail going to strap on old sparky? Or is the mayor’s life not worth a chance the Taser misses it target or is ineffective? Or would a deployed Taser involved video be a politician’s worst nightmare if perceived “excessive force” and electrical torture was associated with their name and re-election campaigns? Dignitaries always seem to have exemptions to everyone else’s rules. Democrat politicians are V.I.Ps not unwashed peasants. No tasers, body cams, pepper spray or dash cams anytime all the time.
Is it possible that the mayor's detail was ordered to respond to dignitary related concerns? Aren't they told they are no longer police and only act on the mayor's security concerns? Sounds like an Inspector General's investigation is needed and a generic disciplinary type investigation for the rule violations of inattentiveness to duty and failure to take police action. Maybe the media should pick up on these themes. Remember, its the seriousness of the charge not the nature of the allegation.

Little Birdy has said Rahm actually doesn't live there.
Just the wife and kids...
He stops by a few times a week to keep up appearances.
He allegedly has his own condo somewhere by North Pier/New East Side
or by Millennium Park.
He gives no fucks about anything/anyone.
