More Questions

  • Top mayoral aides are holding closed-door briefings with small groups of aldermen this week to flesh out details of Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s plan to abolish the Independent Police Review Authority, but the sessions are raising more questions than they answer.

Ald. Anthony Napolitano (41st), a former Chicago Police officer-turned-firefighter, said he’s concerned about the multiple levels of oversight the mayor is planning over already wary police officers and about the criteria that would be used to serve on those boards.

“I get that we need some sort of change. But the thing that I’m worried in the end is, when you bring an independent group of people in who don’t understand the law or have no law or policing background, you’re pretty much sending ’em out there to go on kind of a witch hunt for police officers,” Napolitano said.
A witch hunt? With all of this? Proposed and in-place already?
  • Napolitano said he was assured by top mayoral aides Anna Valencia and Janey Rountree that “nothing is set in stone,” but Emanuel hopes to create three independent boards to restore public confidence in investigations of excessive force and other police wrongdoing.

“Take those three, add to ’em your department. Add to ’em your IAD. Add to ’em your media. Add to ’em your ACLU. That right there is eight different levels of the onion that every officer is gonna be scrutinized on. What we’re creating is a reactive police department,” Napolitano said.
Reactive? Rahm said we were "fetal." The FBI says it's a "Ferguson effect." Our commentators have called it the "ACLU Effect." With eight levels of second-guessing going on, all with an agenda and the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, anything other than "reactive" is asking for trouble.

Napolitano even quotes actual facts - a political no-no in Rahm's world:
  • “When I talk to officers, they’re saying, `We feel like the whole city is coming down on us,’ ” he said. “Fourteen hundred people shot this year alone. How many of ’em shot by police officers? Six. The numbers don’t equal properly. It’s not an officer issue.”
It never was - it was to protect Rahm's ass for his covering up of a video. But until that becomes the issue instead of the media broadcasting Rahm's agenda, "fetal" is what you're going to get.

Don't worry, soon you will all be assigned an ACLU lawyer to monitor your entire shift. She/he will download and review your entire shift from your body camera. You will be evaluated and graded by the number of perceived racist, sexist, Justice involved micro-aggressions you commit each shift, and your obvious fascist violations of the rights of the poor innocent ghetto dwellers.

Then your supervisor will review any parking and traffic stops you made, and gig you for any missed opportunities for adding additional violations and missed opportunities for maximizing "revenues" from the citizens of Chicago. This is the important part of rebuilding trust and respect in the CPD, because nothing endears the police to the average solid citizen like issuing them hundreds or thousands of dollars in tickets and fines. Just ask the fleeced and sheared citizens of Ferguson MO!

SCC has cut through the smoke and bullshit and exposed the Reality: Rahm "Intentionally Suppressed" a police video that would have cost him his re-election bid! Van Dyke was then hidden away at Call-Back for over an entire year! When the video was exposed by court order, Rahm was Shocked and Sickened by what he saw, a year and ten days after he originally saw it when he was apparently Not sickened and shocked. As if in some performance of Theater of the Absurd, Van Dyke was then, 410 days later, Perp Walked in shackles and chains as if he was Public Enemy #1! So in an effort to protect his Political Future and Legacy, he turned the Police Department over to the Federal Government and ACLU. Remember, initially Rahm objected to the Feds coming in; but when Hillary came to town, surrounded by the mothers of thugs killed in the commission of violent crimes,Tiny Dancer changed his tune. God forbid he offend Madame Clinton. But the point is this: Every Chicago Police Officer is a pawn in Rahm's Political Game. Every Cop, even the Clouted are now quite expendable. Do not fall into their trap, do not become the Poster Boy or Girl for Bad Police. Let this treachery serve to unite us rather than to divide us. Remember, a Black cop has been sentenced to prison for slapping a piece of shit around, and another Black cop is on the launching pad. Rahm will use any cop of any color or gender as a means of staying in power. STAY FETAL, STAY FETAL, PROTECT EACH OTHER; YOU ARE ALL ALONE! Baby"G"

RAHM needs the REV-run on the board. Funny thing is these clergy have high school DIplomas. It is all about the vote not justice. And these board seat will of course not be done without a paycheck!

They want officers prosecuted for not having probable cause for arrest! Just picture dope court and all those sly judge just dropping cases and then the feds WOULD FILE CHARGES AFTER A CASE WAS FOUND WITH no PROBABLE CAUSE.

The charge would be assault and unlawful restraint. Don't wait till your the test case in Chicago.
Read up on the freddie gray case.

SCC I have a full proof suggestion that I have running by my fellow officers for some time now. It was said to me by a retired officer, that back in the day the mayor knew that every officer held 20-25 votes in his back pocket. simple math, lets say 10,000 officers times 25 votes (family members, friends and people who live on your block) that is 250,000 votes. now if I can extend this to our friends at the fire union, they have 5,000 members times 25 that is 125,000 votes, together that's a total of 325,000 votes. Together with our two unions we can run the City of Chicago. In the last run-off Rahm received 319,543 votes to win. numbers do not lie in this scenario, with our two unions and not to mention if we reach out to other unions who will get on board with us, we can run the tables and take over the City of Chicago.
My next thought was to extend this across Illinois to all of our Brothers and Sisters in Law Enforcement and possibly running the table and decide who we want to be Governor.
All we need is to get the ball rolling and gain a whole lot of steam and you will see the politicians start getting real nervous, it can be done. I want all members and their 25 voters to go into a master data base held at the FOP where we can send email blasts to what the truth is and a link to the SCC. One final thought if we can get our numbers into the 500,000 to 1 million range we can send an email blast out to everyone and suggest that they do not buy a paper and possibly hurt say the Sun Times (fallen star) financially.

Great Idea, but it will never happen because less them 50 percent of cops are registered voters. Coppers are their own worst enemies. Each and every copper should be registered to vote, but most cops are all to important to take the time and register and definatly to busy to go and vote. Until coppers stop being so self important we will never be a voting block the politicians need to worry about. Each and every copper should hold 25 votes in their back pocket, but this new generation of coppers are to worried about getting that hour on the end to go out and drink and tell the war stories, and the coppers with a some time on are all to worried about getting that extra $ 160.00 in retro pay so they can go to vegas. The last contract that was passed should have never been ratified because the rank and file should never have voted yes. But, the coppers with time on voted yes to screwing the new guys out of duty availability pay and the new guys don't even bother to vote. So until coppers learn to stand together nothing will change things will only get worst. Also , before the bashes begin, I have 20 years on the job, I voted no on the last contract and I am a registered voter.

Never once have I seen him wear a tie or let alone a sport jacket or heaven forbid a suit and tie. What a disgrace to have him as our sheriff. I often wonder what other "Real Sheriffs" think of this idiot. Do any of the "Real Sheriffs" even think of him as a Law Enforcement Professional?

Maybe there should be a Tie & Dress shirt drive for Lil Toupee Tommy Dart.

Phoenix officer shot and killed by druggie burglarizing his own fathers home on May 19th.....responding officers then shot and killed offender.
Today, in PHOENIX ARIZONA, the officers funeral was broadcast on local t.v.....yep, broadcast on CBS 5 Arizona....check it out...it is also on their App....the streets were lined with thousands of Arizonans waving flags and CRYING for Officer David Glasser. He left behind a wife and 2 very young children.
So you young hard chargers might want to think about relocating somewhere where the citizens want you, need you, and sure do appreciate you. Do your 30 years somewhere else than Chiraq. The older guys/gals have too much time invested to leave, but you young ones really need to think about staying in a city where everyone from the shit for brains Mayor to the DOJ to the Feebs to the feral citizens all hate you.
Shouldn't be like that. Shouldn't be so damn stressful every day, when all you ever wanted to do was help people, have a decent life for yourself and your family, and not be seen as the evil being that the media is portraying you.
Just something to think about.
In the meantime, stay safe out there.....watch your back...protect each other, and if you find yourself involved in some real police action, know and USE your contractual rights!

He is the real deal and the only true friend of the Police. A guy by the name of Tim Heneghan is running against him. Heneghan is put up by Mary O'Connor and Mulroe, both assholes who voted the way they are told. Heneghan would vote 100% with Rahm if he was in power now.
