- The violence in Chicago did not stop even for a minute during the beautifully cool weekend that featured a “Blood Moon” and first supermoon eclipse in over 30 years. With 53 wounded, including a ten-year-old girl, and four killed during the weekend, the moon was not the only place for blood in the Windy City.
Anyone demoted? Anyone fired? Anyone pointing out that "mission" based policing is a ridiculous failure? Anyone pointing out that we are shorthanded beyond belief, nearly 3,000 cops short of what we had back in the 1990's?

Garry is done. The city council is going to turn on him at the next meeting to cover their own asses. His programs cost too much and accomplish too little.
How come none of the alderthieves are calling for Garry's head? It's awfully quiet...did rahm give orders?

Has the CPD ever thought of giving the thugs some training and target practice? If the punks were better shots, maybe 11 month old babies would not get shot. Maybe their Mothers would live.
Most of all, maybe if they were better shots, the punks would thin the herd of low life gang-bangers more effectively. Personlly, I do not care what they do to their fellow criminals, it is the collateral damage that pisses me off. Maybe if the thugs killed each other off, there would be peace in the neighborhoods. The cops, states attorneys and the judges sure aren't making it peaceful.

And to avoid facing this and other violence issues head-on, COMSTAT was canceled for this week. Easiest way to avoid a problem when you don't have the right answers is to not address the problem but pass it off while you bring in the smoke and mirrors.
Or get rid of your failed policies, hire some cops, and become the real police once again.

If city leaders were really serious about stopping this carnage (which they're not), they would impose a nightly curfew in the areas that are overwhelmingly affected. This would drastically lower the body count, as way too many people are aimlessly wandering and hanging around when the rest of society is sleeping. In order to properly enforce the curfew, the city police would need to be supplemented by outside agencies and the National Guard, as needed. The expected outcry and protest from these areas would be loud and violent, however, at the very least a spotlight would be shined on, and serious discussion would begin on a serious problem affecting the black and Hispanic communities. Uh-oh, I mentioned the dreaded "b" and "h" words, branding me a blatant, far right, racist republican hate-monger to be silenced and banished from any input on the matter. Hey, certain segments of the population and your leadership, you want the government to care for your every whim and solve your problems. Well, here it is.

Who cares? In other news, on ME TV this past Saturday night the Son of Frankenstein shot Ygor to death in the old laboratory. Official police report from the one-armed inspector stated it was self defense since Ygor tried to strike the man with a hammer.
Maybe Redmoon Theater could ask Rahm to give up some money to buy more Police for the safety of Taxpayers. After-all, Rahm gives Redmoon Theater what they ask for. Even going so far as helping Redmoon burn up Taxpayers money in the Lake....(a Lake where water, water is everywhere....that's what puts fires out). This Mayor is so goofy.

All the New York ideas are not working even a little bit. Time for Gary to leave resign like a man, no pension (Can you hear us now) go back home to New York! When the receipt system comes into play over/under on street stops? On attorneys waiting to sue? On Black judge retired who stated "I know what racism is" this is the guy that be reviewing all receipts and decide if civil rights were violated, yes boss you got our backs? Just please stop turning that knife!

When will the media begin to do their job and point out how shorthanded the Chicago Police Department really is! New York, a city with land area about the same as Chicago has 33,000 Police Officers. We have one third that number. The city has saved big money on those missing salarys so where did that money go?
It sure didn't go towards our pensions did it, it has caused problems with the pension via that lack of those 3,000 officers contributions. The homicide (and all other crimes in reality) has soared, can't the media see the obvious? Or are they willing participants in thus fraud perpetrators on the public. Now it is going to take more than just beefing up the Police to former strengths, it is going to take a Mayor and Police Superintendant like the Sheriff of Milwaukee county, to stand up to the minority/criminal community's and back up the Police Officers who must be allowed to take back the streets from these criminals and say to he'll with political correctness and all the community activists that say that there are too many people if color in jail,obviously (Ms Prepwinckl) there are not enough people of color in jail.
Yet the Superintendent makes more money than the Mayor!!!
This Era has to end already!! Wake up Mr. Mayor
Even if McCarthy is thrown under the bus, who is this department with the shape it's in is qualified to take over/ Answer no-one. There are not any more old school bosses who could lead this PD out of the shadows. Rahm should start putting out feelers now for someone like a General Patton, and let him run the department his own way.

What? Any job you are on automatically generates an event #. Welcome to PCAD. It's only been around a few years. If you are being told this at roll call, your supervisors have no idea how the system works.

Watching "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" the original 1956 version got me thinking who is responsible for today's diabolical version.
Seems the evil pods are sprouting all over this city, of course with the help of The Left, spreading those vicious pods into the suburbs and across the country carelessly. Then there's the continual cultivation of this dysfunctional society.

After Baltimore, Chicago's crime gets the national media spotlight now. Not too much going on in Detroit, Houston or Gary.
