Mother, May I?

Viewing the Police as parents, we've now come to this:
  • Police in Beloit are launching a new effort to reduce gun violence in which they're asking city residents to volunteer to have police search their homes for guns.

Police Chief Norm Jacobs said he doesn't expect the phone to be ringing off the hook with requests for police to search their homes. He nevertheless hopes the program will encourage people to think about gun violence as an infectious disease like Ebola, and a home inspection like a vaccine to help build up the city's immune system.

"Gun violence is as serious as the Ebola virus is being represented in the media, and we should fight it using the tools that we've learned from our health providers,” he said.
Really? Ebola has managed to kill two persons in this country. Granted, those two people shouldn't have even been allowed into the country under normal quarantine procedures, but that doesn't even come close to a really violent weekend in Chicago.
  • Jacobs said he hopes some searches will result in the discovery of guns they didn't know were in their own homes. He said that there’s also a chance they’ll find guns linked to crimes.

“That's really what we're looking for,” he said. “Maybe we'll find a toy gun that's been altered by a youngster in the house — and we know the tragedies that can occur there on occasion.”

There have been seven gun homicides in Beloit this year. Four of the victims were teenagers or young men in their 20s — like Melisha Holloway's 20-year-old son Raymond, who was killed in April. Holloway said too many young men have given up on school.

“Pretty much all those kids and young men just need to be is educated,” said Holloway. “You have a lot of them that barely read at a fifth-grade level yet they're 25 year-old-men. But they know how to work a gun. There's something wrong with that picture."
Yeah, it's called "parenting." And the issue isn't that a 25-year-old can work a gun. Tens-of-thousands of 18-year-olds run million dollar battle tanks along with being able to shoot, strip and clean rifles and pistols. Hell, our children have been taught gun safety since they were old enough to know what a gun was. Even when they were five, knew enough what not to point it at. That's what's lacking. Not this crap.

Anti gun agendas, whipping the population of idiot welfare class morons up when their criminal children get shot for fighting the police, releasing CIA reports during all of this.

It kind of sounds like somebody wants civil unrest. It's as if there was something that needed to be hidden and distractions are the order of the day.

Why are the communists so eager to keep this country divided?

The mind of a liberal is a strange and wondrous thing. Sort of an empty void with a single braincell bouncing and pinging around from wall to wall.

It always starts with the parents. Liberal minds cant but mostly wont grasp that basic concept because most of their constituents are terrible parents. It is so funny that even these savages are calling themselves husband and wife to give the illusion theyre different from the other savages. They dont even understand the true purpose of being a husband and wife and maintaing a loving structured environment for their bastard babies. Sorry for the rant, just venting.

WTF was the chief smoking? Seven homicides for the year try a week in Chicago. Mr. Thomson what stats for the city to date 370 give or take? Could you imagine the uproar if CPD did that or suggest it?

Cold, dead hands: Buffalo to seize guns from families following owners' funerals

November 14, 2014

"A plan by police in Buffalo, N.Y., to begin confiscating the firearms of legal gun owners within days of their deaths is drawing fire from Second Amendment advocates.

"The plan is legal under a longstanding, but rarely enforced state law, but gun rights advocates say, with apologies to onetime NRA spokesman Charlton Heston, it is tantamount to prying firearms - some of which may have substantial monetary or sentimental value - from the cold, dead hands of law-abiding citizens.

"They're quick to say they're going to take the guns," said Tom King, president of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association. "But they don't tell you the law doesn't apply to long guns, or that these families can sell [their loved one's] pistol or apply to keep it."

Pro-gun websites...[claim] claiming authorities..."use the relative's pistol permit as the proverbial camel's nose under the tent to get at every firearm they can, hoping to remove all the firearms from the home while the family is at their most vulnerable."

"Dominic Saraceno, a Buffalo defense attorney, said..."If a police officer came to my door without a warrant signed by a judge, I'm not giving them anything. Most people don't know that and get intimidated."

New York State flags 38,718 gun owners as mentally unstable

December 07, 2014

"The Syracuse Post-Standard reported last week that since the [SAFE Act's] enactment, the state has collected 38,718 names in a database of individuals who have been found at-risk for owning guns by psychiatrists and other health professionals."

Are you in the files? Are they coming to your door next? Who knows?

"The paper reported that the state does not tally how many individuals in the database have had their permits suspended and guns confiscated. The names in the database are confidential."

The state says --

"The reporting requirement extends to “mental health professionals,” defined in the law as four professions – physicians (including psychiatrists), psychologists, registered nurses, or licensed clinical social workers."

No privacy...

"Under HIPAA, because these informational disclosures are required by law, they can be made without the patient’s consent. HIPAA permits disclosures of protected health information without the authorization or consent of the individual to the extent that such disclosure is required by law and the disclosure complies with the requirements of that law."

...and no accountability.

"The new law specifically provides that if a mental health professional uses “reasonable professional judgment” and “good faith” when making a determination, this decision cannot be the basis for any civil or criminal liability on the part of that professional."

http://programs.governor.ny.gov/nysafeact/mental-health-faq

Conclusion -- you can't trust any medical professional or "social worker." So very many of them support anti-gun causes. Keep your mouth shut. Don't volunteer any information, don't seek out help if you need it. Big Brother is right there in the examining room with you.

This will lead to better "healthcare."

I guess bratwurst warps your mind as much as Starbucks coffee. I wouldn't mind having the police search my house only so that I can invite hot men in for some of my famous white wine spritzers.

But otherwise....fuggedaboutit.

Now, kees me you fool!!!!

I've been in school with them. Here's what they really do: smoke dope, party, chase pussy. Then school comes to an end and they don't know how to read. The big men on campus now realize they are nothings.

Face it -- no amount of taxpayer money thrown at this problem will make it go away. It's been tried for half a century and it should be obvious by now they don't care about school or straight jobs.

"Jacobs said he hopes some searches will result in the discovery of guns they didn't know were in their own homes." I guess it would be like that scene in Men in Black II where Agent K walks into a family's living room, throws a secret switch and reveals an hidden arsenal of weapons.

They had them at Fenwick High School in Oak Park. No more, not for a long time, since everyone lost their mind.
