Ebola in New York

Popping up here and there - now New York:
  • A doctor in New York City who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea tested positive for the Ebola virus Thursday, becoming the city’s first diagnosed case.
Good thing he stayed home and monitored himself, right?
  • Even as the authorities worked to confirm that Mr. Spencer was infected with Ebola, it emerged that he traveled from Manhattan to Brooklyn on the subway on Wednesday night, when he went to a bowling alley, and then took a taxi home.
Well that's just peachy-keen. Make sure you read that Special Order. And don't say "ebola" over an open radio:
  • Emergency dispatchers in New York were likewise told to use codewords to refer to suspected Ebola cases over the radio and were not allowed to reveal information on any of the cases handled by first responders.

“At no point shall a dispatcher transmit over the radio any message containing the word ‘Ebola’ or related terminology,” a New York Fire Department bulletin stated.

Instead dispatchers were told to use the code letters “F/T,” for Fever/Travel, to indicate that a 911 caller had a fever and a history of travel to West Africa.
Keep the public in the dark - that'll solve everything.

They keep repeating the lie that Ebola is very hard to catch..

Well, over 400 doctors got it and over 236 died. Why do these highly educated professionals keep rubbing Ebola slobber on themselves?

Speaks volumes about their infection control procedures for EVERYTHING if that's the case.

I'm not buying the CDC bravo sierra though. Yeah it's not airborn. Oh-no. We just put the infected in isolated negative pressure rooms and wear space suits cuz it's fun.

The reason why I am upset, concerned, and darned near panicking about ebola is because the idiots in charge are not concerned about ebola.

I just re-read the Hot Zone by Richard Preston. The experts call ebola a "slate wiper." Everyone dies.

America voted for socialists and their ineptitude. Now we have it. Did you think they would be different from any of history's other socialist states?

So, we have multiple medical professionals, who understand the dangers of this disease, hopefully better than John Q Public, ignoring general safety practices. Just wth do they think will happen if someone without medical training catches this. I guarantee their first thought isn't going to be about safeguarding the public. This country is way to self-oriented for that.
I fully understand the chances of catching this are about as good as winning the lotto, or being struck by lightening, twice, but if people don't stop putting themselves first, it could get a little more dicey.

Duncan lived with his family before he went to the Dallas Hospital. None of his family caught ebola. The nurses that treated him before he died caught it. There is got to be a hot period where the virus is transferred. I doubt anyone in NYC will catch it from the doctor.

Listen to your government experts and follow their directions. Don't worry, Obama is watching your back and will protect you.

Obama allowed it to be brought to every major U.S. City intentionally. Now many will die. Probably you, or someone you know. Arent you glad you elected Democrats (Communists) now. This will also totally destroy the Economy soon, probably in 2015. Treatment? You aint gettin any. Doctors and nurses will retire by the thousands, leaving a few imported Quacks to treat you, if at all. Food and wayer supply-contaminated. Thanks Democrats, for destroying America.

These dummies get what they deserve. You want to help with the plague guess what you might get it! Let all these people coming in from these countries stay quarantined at the White House and politicians homes who think it's no big deal! And remember it will never reach the U.S.A.

I blame the Feds for letting anyone in that had their travel into the US originate in West Africa into the country without a quarantine. What part of it's here don't they want to admit.

The CDC says it isn't airborne, I cry BS as they don't want panic. The Univ of MN says some strains may have mutated.

Ya think it just might be time to STOP THE FLIGHTS???

We can certainly still process exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

But if this doctor's case isn't proof that we need a mandatory quarantine requirement for those returning from an Ebola hot zone, I dont know what it is.

Call the next case. Not a cop.

So we have nurses from Dallas jumping on planes and cruise ships. Now we have a doctor riding the subway.
I'm glad all of these trained professionals are taking this serious. Go to work, spend money and vote democratic.
The American Way. I'm 46 years old and seriously think for the first time it's time to retire at 50 and move out of this country altogether. Our leaders are hopeless.

"A doctor in New York City who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea tested positive for the Ebola virus Thursday, becoming the city’s first diagnosed case."

"Good thing he stayed home and monitored himself, right?" -- SCC

Doctors won't even do it -- Dr. Nancy Snyderman, TV consultant, broke her quarantine and went out for soup -- but our government is handing out comic books and thermometers to just anyone flying in here from the Hot Zone and telling them to keep careful logs of their temperature and call in every day.

Some of these people looted an Ebola clinic, running off into the shantytown with bloody, contagious sheets, mattresses, pillows, blankets -- and others have been known to drive health workers from their villages with showers of rocks.

I saw one photo of a woman carrying a pile of clothing and linens -- "her husband's belongings after he expired from Ebola."

I think she was dead too, but didn't know it yet...

The burial crews spray each other down with bleach, and remove all their outer protective gear and toss it into the open grave after the body...

SIERRA LEONE - "Okada motorbike taxi drivers in Freetown, face health risks daily since the outbreak of Ebola.

"According to a spokesperson for the drivers, at least 16 have died since late September.

"The UN says there are between 50,000 and 80,000 Okada riders in Freetown alone who provide a major means of transportation for ordinary citizens.

"It is a job that has become very dangerous.

"Mohamad Piselbangura, Okada motorbike driver: 'The simplest way to get Ebola is through body contact. And we are moving with people from one place to the other, so the risk is 100 percent.'"

Oh -- doesn't the guy on the anti-Ebola sticker on the bike's gas tank kind of look like Barack Obama?

Watch the movie Contagion too. Pretty good, except for the part where the government is all on top of it in developing a vaccine and everybody is organized and prepared.

NYPD Stunner: Cops Exit Ebola Victim Apartment, Dump Gloves, Masks In Sidewalk Trash Can

If there was one theme from last night's Cuomo/De Blasio Ebola press conference it was 'how everyone has been preparing for months' for Ebola. We can all be reassured, right? Wrong! As The Daily Mail reports (and these stunning photos show), the police officers involved in securing Dr. Spencer tossed their gloves, masks and the caution tape used to block off access to his apartment in a public trash can.

MSM has mocked people in African Ebola hot zones, ridiculed them when they accused healthcare workers and hospitals of spreading the disease.

Oh how ignorant they said. That's so stupid.

But just look at who's running around in the USA with the disease. Two nurses and now a doctor. Think about that.

Unprecedented number of medical staff infected with Ebola

Over 400 healthcare workers have been infected and over 230 have died from it.

Yet we're suppose to trust some cops and fire medics on their diligence in handling contaminated materials because they read a flyer or took a crash course.

You would think a-hole doctor would know to quantine himself for CDC recommended 21days. But no, he had to go bowling. What an ass. But then again, this Ebola seems to have taken everyone's eyes off the enterovirus that mysteriously appeared in our children after half a million illegal alien children crossed our southern border. That virus is inherent to Central America. How many kids have already died from that one. More than the number of Ebola cases. Control our borders and restrict travel from West Africa until these viruses are eliminated.

WTF??

Now NYC issues mandatory quarantine for healthcare workers coming from infected areas.

Well now an infected non-american citizen can come in free like an unaccompanied illegal immigrant but if your a US citizen doing healthcare work you're a second class citizen.

It's not hard. Mandatory quarantine for ANYONE from the hot spots like it should of been and like it always had been when it comes to international travel and pandemics.

Meanwhile dumb ass mayor sits on his ass and we wait for the video of Chicago throwing Ebola infected materials into the streets exposing us all because he has no plans just bullshit propaganda designed to conjure up an illusion of protection to the non-critical thinking sheep

I read that when it first came out and I never forgot it. I never thought Ebola would get here and this shit is scary. It is time for the pharmaceutical companies to jump on this and find a cure. The world has become so much smaller now, in every way.

But they will use a random number generator and check that number for explosives on the CTA. Why not just an explosives decal with red slash through it and a blue steel bin in which to deposit explosives, no questions asked?

Or explosives turn in, you get VISA gift cards in return.

Obama says if you like your Ebola you can keep your Ebola. His cabinet of communist czars will keep all party members safe after the next election. You must be a party member to get your government medical services. If you are not a party member you can still get government service in the form of an IRS audit.

Remember folks, you voted for this twice or were too busy to be bothered.
