Olympic Disaster

  • Amid growing concerns that Brazil might not be ready to host the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games, Olympic officials have launched a series of emergency measures to jump-start the much-delayed preparations.

This latest effort follows months of sluggish construction, labor strife and governmental chaos in the host country.

“We believe that Rio can and will deliver an excellent Games if the appropriate actions are being taken now,” Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee, said at a Thursday news conference.
As corrupt as Rio is, we imagine Shortshanks wouldn't have given them a run for the money if he managed to land this quadrennial financial disaster.

It is a shame that our President was ignored when he pled for the Olympics to be held in Chicago. Our mayor would have things running in fine tune by now. I predict that Rio will be a disaster. They should have chosen the City With Big Hips.

Heard right when this started that the Brazilian Army was to be used as a source of cheap manual labor.

Keep the overhead down, helps insure that more of the inevitable "cost overruns" go into the right pockets.

The Olympics are a terrible curse upon the working poor of any city. Greek idea, so let them be held in Athens twice a year. Every year.

We started paying that $100 million + for the Michael Reese property yet? I guess that's been "refinanced," "scooped and tossed" far enough into the future to miss the next election...

Just found out the other day that the Michael Reese patient records were destroyed in 2010. Thanks loads, captive media, for keeping Chicagoans abreast of something that might have been really important to them.

Find a site in Greece and have every participating nation kick in to build the Olympic venue. Do the same in Norway for the winter games.

Cost the Shitty over fifty million bucks not to get the Olympics. Probably came from our pension fund.

Shortshanks spent about $75 Million in pension money funneled through Davis & Vanecko Realty on the world's most expensive lap-dance.

Not a smoochie, rub or tug to show for it...

"Heh... We're gunna show those euro-pukes how we do t'ings in Chicagaguh."

The Chicago contingent was rolled for the "bribe" money and bounced like the low class pikers they were.

Several sources say the flight back home was eerily quiest except for the screaming, nervous shitting, crying, cursing and manservant slapping being done by Shortshanks.

Everybody that was plugged into City Hall were licking their chops over the money they were planning to steal.

The Treasury Department & U.S. Bureau of Engraving would've been busy facilitating the new issue of uncut sheets of $100K Gold Certificates... Every swinging dick and dangling tit of note in Chicago would have been running around with architect portfolios jammed full of the damned things... The thievery would have been THAT epic.

Now of course you know that axes have been ground since then...

"Those Coppers on that blog fucked up our chance to steal, err... Make some some real money."

Partial explaination for the war against The Police in this town?

Daley Inc. and Rahm & Co. are pissed that a primo money conjuring opportunity got away.

"Piss off Coppers! We don't wanna share with you guys!"

We are still on the hook for hundreds of millions, how many guys committed suicide, that were part of the Daley crime scheme? Will Daley ever go to prison, with his criminal family? We can't name a building after Elliot ness who went after criminals, but we can spend millions on a unneeded park for part of the Daley crime syndicate the Maggie Daley park. Yep it's all legit!

It was part of the deal to get rahmbo in. Daley had to leave office to make room for the new king or be indicted and have his crime empire (family) collapse. Obama wanted to get rid of rahm the tyrant so he would use his justice department to threaten meters Daley. It was a good deal for all the assholes involved! Gotta like how they always look out for us.
Yep it's all legit!

Just imagine what they will hame Richard M Daley after he finally kicks or Ed Burke. Probably police HQ will be Ed Burke HQ or that portion of Lake Michigan within the city limits can be Lake Ed Burke.

At least they might have the damn common decency to die before naming shit after themselves, unlike Stroger Hospital.

Do your homework. Our President was not interested in having the Olympics here. He owed Daley a big favor for handing him the Presidency, so he made the tape. When time came to make the personal appearance, he declined to go and was convinced only at the last second.
Maybe he grasped what we did; too expensive, too disruptive, too outrageous for a two-week long party.

Rio, hands down. Around 8,000 homicides a year, yes, that's right, 8,000 a year, and that is just Rio, not all of Brazil.
