Here Comes the Warm

We imagine one guy in particular isn't going to be sleeping much this weekend:
  • Friday - 54 degrees
  • Saturday - 62 degrees
  • Sunday - 71 degrees
And a whole mess of mid-to-high 60's after that.

We suppose that if we can keep it down to 30 shootings,  McCompStat will claim a 17% reduction in shootings over the same time period from last week - and the media will print it.

I don't know... City has been relatively quiet this April. We are wayyy behind in homicides for April so far and shootings are about 125 less for the month

The body counts provide cover for the criminal activity of the oligarchy class why would they really want to eliminate that?

Has the DOJ been brought to justice yet?

Have the investment bankers been brought to justice yet?

Have the people that robbed the pensions been brought to justice yet?

The CTA hires a political clouted clown to head rail maintenance and has zero experience about rail maintenance except for maybe the Lionel train he had as a child.

Meanwhile the trains fall off the tracks causing millions of dollars damage and delays after delays daily. Justice eh?

And the mayor stands by the choice. WTF??

The sanctuary city Chicago body counts creates a fine distraction away from the high crimes and misdemeanors at the top -- that enables this bloodshed and violence at the lower levels.

They call them lawmakers but maybe they are lawbreakers eh?

Instead of teaching "the children' how to be self sufficient and self reliant we have conditioning centers under the title of CPS, condition the masses to cower in fear do what the authorities tell you to do and wait for someone else to do something.

Whelp, the office workers on 9/11 where told to stay in their places and how did that work out?

The recent Korea ferry that capsized the people were told not to move how did that work out?

We're not educating the children to think for themselves.

No, just conditioning them to obey the authorities right or wrong.

The city gun violence is a symptom of a much larger core issue. It's the disease of corruption itself that needs to be addressed

I was at comp-post on Thursday against my will.

McClueless painted a rosy as can be picture of how everything is going. His strategies are working, overall, crime is down...he was almost giddy...only briefly mentioned last weekend.

He continues to tell commanders to have beat guys 'touch' people and do those contact cards!

...of course, there were outsiders at the meeting, FBI and I think a suburban p.d., so he had his happy face on.

He and the other east coast idiot continue to fawn all over Barb West. Now in addition to doing the 'custom notifications', they are doing 'revisits'. McBoob mentioned that none of the 90 people visited so far have had any violent crime arrests since the visits. He failed to mention the guy who ended up dead, or if any others were dead or shot.

I had to force myself not to laugh out loud when he asked the commander of 24 what kind of conversations beat officers were having with people when they do contact cards. McBoob said that people who are 'touched' have to be given the message that 'we are trying to reduce the violence and to please cooperate.' That's not verbatim, but almost.

He's such a tool. If I have to go to one more of these I'm going to have to bring a barf bag.

No-no..Just remember that any person that subscribes to the Broken Windows theory of economics will tell you: these shootings are good for the economy. They create jobs and force money to change hands and that grows the much touted GDP economic growth numbers.

Shootings in Chicago bring in federal Obamacare money.

Shootings in Chicago enhance that healthcare outfit that Rahm ran to the aid of not so long ago profits: Accretive Health. You know the company that helps hospitals by strong arming patients bleeding out in the ER's demanding to know how they intend to pay their bills.

Shootings in Chicago enable empire building for the political class justifying tax increases to protect the children and various other initiatives.

A lot of friends and relatives of clouted politicians get good paying jobs handing out flyers because of the shootings.

Is there any wonder why the DOJ encourages the shootings by arming the drug cartels!

Not to mention how many rich suburban kids and tourist are attracted to Chicago for it's drug distribution network.

Is it any wonder why illegal immigrants are given drivers licenses to keep the supply lines of product moving!

When your car gets smashed, home gets tagged, belongings ripped off. THAT GENERATES ECONOMIC ACTIVITY as the victims are forced to buy replacements AND if you follow the money the corporate profits this creates enables the political campaign contributions which in turn keeps things status quo.

Now if you are in power why in the world would you want to fuck with that economic engine of Chicago.

Every time a gun goes off in the hole-ly land the mayor and aldermen and the congressmen hear a cash register ring.

Bullet holes, pot holes, jack rollers, hole-ly rollers. Oh and political a-holes. Yeah, Chicago the new hole-ly land

Princeton Study Confirms 'US Is An Oligarchy'

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/17/2014 - 20:35

"...policymaking is dominated by powerful business organizations and a small number of affluent Americans, then America’s claims to being a democratic society are seriously threatened...

...even when 80% of the population favored a particular public policy change, it was only instituted 43% of the time."

Except for the son being CPD, I can top that one. I got pulled over for going 45 in a 40 zone with 2 mile long corn fields on either side of me. A Canadian P.O. from Merrillville was out in the St. John area [ believe it or not, any cop in Indiana has jurisdictional powers throughout the entire state regardless of where their department is] and after a bit of pleasant BS about retirement, he sent me merrily on my way. I found out later, after I received in the mail a notice that I had missed my court date and that a license suspension was in the works, that he when he sent me merrily on my way, he also wrote an airmail ticket for speeding. Now that's a cocksucker! Never assume you will get a courtesy break. It's a different world out there today.

That's right, when Lucas was married in chicago on northerly island everything for the reception, including food, security, tents, tables chairs flowers etc were all donated by who u ask?? The city of chicago(the land and security) and multiple city doners, many of whom including Ryan who were all part of the chicago Olympic committee. How many of you PO's and retired PO's, wives, brothers, second cousins of PO's, neighbors and the like expect to be cut a break for driving like idiots? Not attacking anybody or anything, but give it a rest. I'm not against it either, but why expect it? A badge DOES NOT make you above the law. Hurts, but thats life. Are you claiming we are exempt like the fasionista gun waving gangster from about a week back? I don't care if I'm doing 10 or 3 over the limit, I was still over the limit and there are consequences. Pray for a break sometime, because of course you will still get cut some of those my brothers... OR... You could follow the rules.

4/18/2014 04:45:00 PM

I got two tickets for speeding during my career, one in Indiana and one in Montana. Both cost me little more than a jab at my ego. Things are different in other places. I have lost count of all the passes I have been given out of state and I always am polite and respectful, yes sir etc. The Kentucky State Police cut me a break and he looked like the poster officer for his department. Impeccable uniform, sharp crisp creases, shiney shoes, everything about his appearance was perfect and he spoke in a respectful tone himself. When I told him I was law enforcement he asked for my "credentials." Upon examining my ID and button he wished me well. Nice guy. Same thing in many other states but Kentucky was the best dressed and groomed.

So no, it isn't automatic, and that was all as an active officer. Retired is another step removed so I just figure I am the same as everyone else, just follow the rules is all.

I have pulled over plenty of cops in the past. Some are polite some are real jagbags and have a god damn attitude even though they're doing 60 in a 30. I look at their badge and id and walk the fuck away. I don't argue I don't say shit. There are bad apples on every department, including ours that will whip out a ticket book in a heartbeat and write another CPD cop. I've seen it. So I will continue to be this way and I will hope the courtesy extends to me when I get stopped. But if it doesn't oh well a jagbag is a jagbag and nothing will change that.

Two things.
First, it is not a young copper if he has a son on the CPD.
Second, don't get why he would tell you to come to court to dismiss the ticket and then try to backdoor you. Something isnt right. How can a po or the village attorney regulate the amount of fine. He says 3 times the going rate. The fine is a set amount. Just saying

Bullshit! I give many more verbal warnings than I do tickets. Who really cares about a supervisor reviewing a traffic stop on tape? As long as you're on the up and up and if you want to give a pass, give a pass. I am not just talking about PO's or their families. It's up to YOU. No quotas here. CRIME IS DOWN - Boy, 16, shot on South Side

8:48 p.m. CDT, April 19, 2014

"A 16-year-old boy who police said has gang ties was shot multiple times late Saturday afternoon...[he] was being chased by a silver vehicle around 5:25 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Hermitage Avenue...A gunman from the car opened fire, striking the teen in his stomach, back and leg...

"More than a dozen .40-caliber shell casings...littered the intersection of Hermitage and 85th.

"Stephen Russell, 54, pointed to the warm weather that is about to come to Chicago, and why that's unsettling..."There's a lot of shootings, there's a lot of mischief going on," said Russell, adding that he grew up in a house on the same block where the teen collapsed. "They don't care about cops. They don't care about nothing."

"It's scary, because sometimes you can just be driving by and shots ring out and you're in your car ducking..."
